Tavistock House,
Monday Fifteenth December 1856.
Dear Sir,
In reply to your obliging letter, I beg to assure you that I have not the slightest reason to suppose that Andersen is coming to England at all, otherwise than that I have seen it stated insome newspapers that he is coming on a svisit to me. I have not heard from him these six months, and, when he last wrote, he certainly had no more idea of visiting London than of going to the Antipodes.
Fairhfully Yours
Charles Dickens
C. De La Pryme Esquire.
