My dear beloved friend!

A friend of mine, the Icelander Grimur Thomsen, employed in the Department of forreign affairs, is going to London, where he has been before. I give him these few lines, that he personally may bring my most hearty and cordial greeting to Yourself and whole family, recalling me kindly in Your remembrance, as it is an immense long time sine You made me happy with at letter. Mr. Grimur Thomsen speaks perfectly well English, and is as rich in heart and mind as he is a sincere admirer of yours!

Some Days ago, I send you a portrait through Bentley.

Most cordially, truly Yours

H. C. A.
