The Snow-Queen.

Robert Buchanan: Master-Spritis, . Henry S. King & Co, London, 1873. Page 278-79: Some of the pieces are quaintly pathetic, like the following by Hans Andersen: - : The Snow-Queen (Snee-Dronningen) ... assuredly a fine little poem. One line particularly, - 'I Ringdands hvirvler den hvide Snee', possesses a perfect music, which it is difficult to convey in English. The 'Snow-Queen is a fair specimen of the delicate vein of an author whose fairy tales have lately made him very popular in England.
